I have known Geneva since before she was born since her mom and I have been best friends since forever. Lucky me to watch this beautiful young woman grow up -- and get to photograph her senior photos! The session was everything a photographer could hope for : beautiful model, beautiful scenery, and perfect weather. Best of luck to Geneva. Her future is incredibly bright!
Brandon wanted a unique senior photo session and he got it! We hiked up to Rattlesnake Ledge in North Bend for these breath taking shots. I must be honest in that I woke up in a sweat in the middle of the night with a nightmare of sliding off of the ledge. (And I worked up a pretty good sweat getting up to the ledge with my gear.)
I've known this stunning girl's mama since kindergarten when her family moved next door. It was no surprise that her daughter turned out to be as beautiful, nice and talented with the gene pool highly in her favor. We had a fun time shooting in her grandparent's amazing house, and then headed to one of my favorite feel-good Seattle places, the Olympic Sculpture Park. Growing up I never thought I'd be photographing my friend's kids, but how cool is it to be a tiny part of the next generation's memories? I'm feeling blessed.

What a fun way to have your senior photos taken -- with a buddy! These two pretty girls and I met at the Seattle Aquarium and wandered the area for photo opps. There were plenty! I love that these girls have been friends forever due to their parent's friendship, but now are "real friends" since they started attending the same high school. I hope they enjoy their photos! The last photo is an "outtake" with the giant otter we found at an antique store. Fun stuff.
No words are even needed for this session! I had the great fortune to photograph this gorgeous senior's portrait this weekend. We had a great time going from location to location, starting at the local high school and eventually down to the beach. Lately I've been photographing families with little children so this was a refreshing change of not having to bribe my subject with candy or chase her around! I wish her the best in her very, very bright future!
