I first tried to photograph this family last Saturday. It had been beautiful all day but when I got to Lincoln Park in West Seattle the rain started to pour. We moved the party to Endolyne Joe's and had a good time sans camera instead. We rescheduled for later in the week and what a blessing. The day was the best of the year. We had a great time and the little girl who just turned one was hands down the best behaved, zen baby ever. What a treat!
Good friends are the friends that aren't afraid to hole up with me in Britta's cat pinup bedroom with a guinea pig cage in dire need of some fresh liter to let me take some test portraits in unusual lighting -- and me making them do some silly things. (Is that too much of a run on sentence?)
Anywho, I'm loving the results from this little mini-session and I hope they are too! That was fun! Happy Spring everyone!
These two little guys are my nephews. I LOVE photographing them. They are so full of life and 100% boy that it just makes everything fun. Plus it doesn't hurt that they are so darn cute. (No, I would never be biased!)
Reminder if you are a client and still wanting to order for the holidays that Friday, December 7th is your last day to order in time to get the prints back for the holidays. Prints make wonderful gifts!
My kids with their great Grandpa. This is one of those moments I was so happy I lugged around my ginormous camera and was able to capture this precious moment. I will cherish this photo forever as it captures my Grandpa's spirit as well as my kiddos.
