Happy New Year

Happy New Year! I think this Polar Bear Plunge is my only consistent post I make on my blog. This year I decided to mix it up and shoot from a different perspective. The water was really calm and the weather was foggy so I thought if there's any year I shoot from the water it would be this year. I had never tried shooting something from a moving kayak. I am always up for a new adventure though so this was a good one. If I were to do it again I think I'd try shooting from my paddle board wearing a wet suit and underwater camera gear, using a 70-200mm lens (if only owned a wetsuit, 70-200mm and underwater camera housing!)

This lady possibly could have been the one who stayed in the longest. If only she'd been wearing a mexican wrestling costume then she may have one the trophy.

These crazy folks went BACK out for more torment.

My dog, the littler one on the right, is not so sure about "swimming." A dog after my own heart.

The annual Hog ride. (Look closely and you will see a Harley in this photo.)

I continued my paddling and saw some people out for a New Year's boat ride.
