A record... Look who is posting two days in a row?

All my lack of blogging has lead up to a back log of things I can blog. Look out! (Actually I start an intense design project next week so that may mess with my hot streak. One of these days I'll blog about the design work I do too.)

I had a nightmare the other night that I couldn't recall how to use my camera and that I had forgotten memory cards and lenses on a Very Important session. Then last night after dinner I noticed it was a beautiful evening out so I made the family join me on a walk. I grabbed my camera. Good news, I still remember how to use it!

My husband endeared himself to me by saying that the photos of the kids playing and just doing ordinary things are the most precious to him. I feel the same way and was happy to hear he valued me lugging my camera around and snapping as we go about our business. I sometimes feel I am a nuisance, and not to mention geeky looking with a huge camera so that was nice to hear. Here are a few images from our Spring twilight walk. I'm looking forward to more days like this ahead!

We stopped by to say "hi" to my daughter's friends and swing on the swing and play with the dogs.

My son found a light saber in my husband's car and he couldn't resist bringing it with us.

We found this little fort on the beach. It turns out my daughter's friends that we visited had made this. Coincidence!
