I've been photographing this little lady every few months for first year of her life. It has been great -- I walk next door and get my baby fix and photograph the best smiles. Happy first year Reese! It has been fun watching you grow! And I think Reese may go down in the books as the most agreeable baby I've ever photographed! No meltdowns in four sessions? Awesome.
I have known Geneva since before she was born since her mom and I have been best friends since forever. Lucky me to watch this beautiful young woman grow up -- and get to photograph her senior photos! The session was everything a photographer could hope for : beautiful model, beautiful scenery, and perfect weather. Best of luck to Geneva. Her future is incredibly bright!
Today is a very special day for me. My twenty year wedding anniversary! I type this blog post in wonder of how that many years have passed when I'm only 28 (ha ha!). The one thing that I regret about my own wedding is not having better wedding photos. I had a friend who was a photographer and she said she'd do it as a gift. I am grateful to the photos she did take but back in the olden days I think it was expected that you mainly had a photographer for the formal group photos. She didn't take photos of much else. In fact, the photographer only took 75 photos TOTAL. I took more than 75 photos in the first hour of Victoria and Evan's wedding -- more than my photographer took all day!
Anyway, back to Victoria and Evan's wedding. It was a gorgeous affair with so many carefully crafted thoughtful details. I really have no idea how they pulled it all off as they also bought a house and Victoria just graduated with a master's degree. I'm feeling like quite the under achiever just typing this! Their wedding was beautiful and touching. I love seeing two friends come together for life. Many blessings!
Special thanks to my super human/ super star second shooter Fran Doneigo who captured beautiful images as well as kept great company. Fran even traveled to Paris the next morning! (Another over achiever!) I couldn't have done it without Fran.
I love weddings - so much love and beauty of two families joining together. Jessica and Dave's wedding was no exception. I've known Jessica since high school and known of Dave (but never met) for just as long. I was honored to capture their big day! Special thanks to Fran Doniego, my second shooter -- I couldn't do it without her!
Babies truly are the best way to tell the passing of time. I can't believe this little girl has changed so much over the last few months I've been photographing her. What an honor I feel to have captured these first months!
